“Orpheus” choir from Haskovo

The choir is the only children’s choir that holds the title “Representative” for Bulgaria in Haskovo region.

Children’s Choir “Orpheus” was established in 1977 and its conductor is Elena Tsvetkova, who continues the traditions of discovering talented children and developing their singing talents.

The choir is the only children’s choir that holds the title “Representative” for Bulgaria in Haskovo region.

For its 40 years of existence, the choir has performed over 600 concerts in the country and abroad, having toured Poland, the Czech Republic, Wales, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Russia, Italy and many other countries.

Orfeitsi have won awards from our and international competitions and festivals in Varna, Preveza, Moscow, Cologne, Bydgoszcz, Plovdiv, Sofia and others.

For its 30th anniversary, the “Orpheus” children’s choir was awarded the Golden Badge of the Bulgarian Choral Union, and for its 35th anniversary, it received the “Silver Lyre” from the Union of Music and Dance Artists in Bulgaria.
